Department of Psychology and Pedagogy for Special needs

Department of Psychology and Pedagogy for Special needs keeps up with the present-day demand for equality in education that could be accessible to all. The department attempts to introduce and design innovations of inclusive education with a particular focus on people with speech disorders. Graduates of the department can work both, with children and adults, and apply their skills in the fields of education and social work, as well as in medical institutions.

  • Psychological and social well-being of Arctic children and adolescents
  • Tolerance and intolerance in the Arctic region
  • Inclusive education
  • Theory and methodology of teaching
